Start with a schema or a de-identified example. Confirm the delivery environment and data requirements in writing.
A minimal first step
The Fit Check asks for your business question and a description of the available data. It does not accept file uploads, passwords or database credentials.
Remove names, emails, telephone numbers and other personal identifiers from examples. Do not submit payment details, health information or production credentials.
Before work starts
Agree the required sources and minimum necessary fields.
Choose customer-owned Power BI or an agreed hosted delivery option.
Confirm access, retention and deletion arrangements.
Review applicable terms and any required data-processing agreement.
Hosting location, subprocessors and transfer arrangements must be confirmed for your chosen setup. This page is a process overview, not a substitute for contractual privacy terms.
Human review and documented calculations
KPIs and findings are reviewed against agreed definitions. Any use of external AI tools and the data they receive must be agreed in the project scope.
If you already use Power BI, a customer-owned environment can be considered in the scope. Licensing, access and responsibility for scheduled refresh need to be confirmed. A hosted report is a different delivery choice, with its own platform and operating arrangements.
Neither choice should be made only from a package price. We establish source access, expected audience, refresh needs and handling obligations before production starts.
The adjacent executive report is a synthetic illustration of the output, not a demonstration of an authenticated production environment.

Three data stages, three different requirements
Initial assessment
Describe the source and question. Prefer column names and synthetic examples. No passwords, tokens, customer records or production connections are required by the Fit Check form.
Agreed production scope
Confirm necessary fields, lawful access, people with access and the chosen delivery setup. Review any required data-processing agreement and documented retention or deletion terms.
Handover and continued use
Confirm who operates refresh, how source changes are handled and what happens when the engagement ends. Ongoing hosting, refresh and support should have explicit responsibilities.
Before you begin
Do you guarantee a particular hosting region?
The region and subprocessors must be confirmed for the actual delivery arrangement. This overview does not assert a hosting region or certification.
Will external AI tools receive our data?
Any such processing and the data involved must be agreed in the project scope. The dashboard examples do not use customer data.
What should we send for a first enquiry?
A business question, source description, column names and reporting period. Leave out secrets, personal records and unnecessary commercial values.
Start with one business question
